For this assignment I drew from geometric shaped still life objects. With each drawing I became more and more comfortable with using the charcoal to add value and better able to complete each drawing without the use of lines.
By the time I did the final drawing I felt really at ease with the charcoal and did not miss my graphite pencil set a bit! After photographing my final composition and looking at it for a long time I decide to adjust the cone and sphere slightly so that the shadow of the cone would show up fully on the cube and rectangle.
